I’ve wanted to go canyoning since I was in High school and when the Grabone voucher for Canyonz came out I purchased it almost straight away.
I arrived at the Thames I-site pumped and ready for this adventure I was about to embark on. The two staff that met us at the I-site were friendly and made us feel welcome instantly. We drove to the starting point and embarked on a short hike to the location we would start our canyoning and it was beautiful. We walked scrambled down the river to the first abseil and what a rush, the guides at every moment ensured our safety and made sure we were having fun.
The scenery just got more spectacular as we moved on down the canyon. Jumping off cliffs, abseiling, swimming, a flying fox and a little surprise at the end makes for the perfect adventurers’ day out! Lunch half way through and a sausage sizzle at the end was deserving to all group members!
I would rate Canyonz 10/10 and a must do whether you are a tourist or a local!
