Introducing the new kid on the block
With Wellington on a Plate kicking off on Friday and a rich array of culinary delights on stand-by to slap you in the face with deliciousness, this wee ditty could help encourage you to step outside the safety net of your local and embark on a wee gastronomic adventure.
Origami is a fresh East-meets-West restaurant where generous Japanese-inspired cuisine, original décor and friendly prices below the $18 mark join forces to create what we reckon could be the hippest new hangout on Kent Terrace. The menu is a novel packed with mouth-watering dishes all prepped fresh onsite. Plush Astroturf lines the walls and the chairs look like they’ve stepped straight off the pages of an origami how-to book (the kinds of ones you probably attempted to get through when you were about 11 but after you struggled to make a swan you figured you should probably give another hobby a go like flax weaving or bird watching).
Keen to give Origami a red hot go? We don’t blame you, frankly. They look pretty sweet. Wish you could get it even cheaper? Well, we may or may not have a deal ready to go behind the scenes… And tomorrow could be your lucky day… Not that we’re giving you too many hints…
